Yalu River Defeat
After pushing north the US reaches the Yalu River, the border between North Korea and Chine. The Chinese aid the Koreans in the fight and the United States was crushed. They were forced to retreat. -
Retaking Seoul
In the second Battle for Seoul US forces move through Inchon and fought hard to take back Seoul. This battle represented the US forces pushng the North out of the South. -
MacArthur's Dismissal
Gerneral Douglas MacArthur was releived of his duty and command. This was because of his critisism of the president, and his poor policies and beliefs on dealing with the war. Most citizens were in uproar. -
The War Ends
After many years of fighting the US signs an agreement to end the war. At the end of the war the border between North and South remained the same but the US did manage to keep communism out of South Korea.
