    The invasion of Japan into Vietnam restricted local French administrators to show authority. The Japanese then allow the Vivh French colonial government they continueto adminsitrate Vietnam.     Vietnam against colonisation
    When the Japanese lost in the Cold War the Vietnam kicked them out, which cause the French to return to Vietnam. This didn't make Vietnamis happy and caused guerillas against the French. VIetnam denied to be controled by somebody else and fought for what they thought was right.

    The division of Korean was cause by the results of WWII. The Soviet Union had power over the north part of Korean and USA over the south part. The USSR and the US both agreed on ocupying the Korea as a trusteeship with the zone of control along the 38th parallel, which was the division of the north and the south right in the middle of what it use to be Korea.     The UN gets involved with Korea
    When the North Korean manipulated by the USSR invaades South Korea, the UN felt the need to protect south Korea. The Un sent troops to Korean to protect South Korea. In the mean time, Mac Aurthur (part of the US, which controled the south part of Korea) launches a surprise counter atttack to the north.     Mac Arthurs wants to attack
    After the UN sent north Korean troops to the border of China. The Chinese push UN and South Korean out of the North of Korea. AFter this, Mac Arthur gives the deman to send a nuclear attack to China but Truman removes him from his power and stops him from attacking China with a nuclear bomb.     After the UN got involved North Korean a and the UN forces forces sihn the ceasse fire agreement. This agreement stated that the Korean Demilitaried Zone (a new Korean border) would be put into force and would have to ceas-fire.     In the 17th parallel the VIetnamis divided into communists and anticommunists. The partition happened after the Geneva Peace Conference.

    This was the first invation and the first american troopps to arrive to Vietnam. This was a slow porcess and it was escalating quickly but it was an escalating process. This compares to the attack to Korea that was a sudden attack from the US teritory in the south to the of the USSR in the north.

    The United states determined that leaving Vietman would be the best option for them and the left Vietnam under the condition that the North of Vietnam couldn't invade the south after they left.     End of war
    The vietnam war ended with Vietnam becoming communist compared to the Korean war, which ended with the cease-fire agreement. The Korean war and the VIetnam war all ened with formal and detailed agreements and concrete provisions to imprpve the chance for peace, including demilitarized zones, arms control arrangements, and peacekeeping.
