Kennedy. It was inscribed wit various markings, including "made in Italy, cal. 6.5, 1940" and thenumber C2766. The markings were explained as follows: "made in Italy"refers to the gun's origin; "cal. 6.5" refers to the rifle's caliber; "1940" to year of manufacture; C2766 is the rifle's
