    This was a very important event enhancing intercultural understanding and global citizenship by developing multilingualism.

  • Middle years program is launched

  • The Primary Years Programme is launched

    If students are being introduced to IB philosophy from primary years, it's easier and more beneficial for them in DP. So, I believe launching PYP was one of the most successful steps by IB.

  • 4775 IB schools around the world

  • More blended/online teaching and learning

    Last year gave a chance to value more online/ blended teaching and tools and techniques and virtual labs. Some of them are very useful and could be used even after pandemic.

  • More focus on developing skills and less focus on grades

  • More diverse community

    I would like to see more diverse IB communities and more IB schools spreaded around the world
