Mrs. Everdeen gets into a deep depression, she doesn't have the energy to feed Katniss and Prim. Katniss begins to take over the mother role.

This is the beginning of the connection between them. Family Everdeen has no food and this saves them.

They met each other in the woods outside of the district. They hunt for 5 years together.

The start of the Hunger Games, The competition requires 2 people from every district. They have to fight until the death in the arena. The Reaping is the day they pick the 2 teenagers

Very important date because the chosen teenagers provide a impression on waht people bet on them. They can send a care package to participants for help during the Hunger Games

The Capitol is the political center of the districts.

The Gamemakers decide how the Games end, they put up traps and choose when they will be activated. The participants each have to to show the Gamemakers what they are up to. After they showed the Gamemakers what they can, they rank them Katniss gets ranked 11 out of 13. It suprises her.

This is just as important as the rating from the Gamemakers.
During the interview Peeta says he loves Katniss. This is very important for the games because they will get money. -
the Hunger Games have begun. Katniss went into the woodland environment with 23 other participants that all wanna kill her.

11 participants are dead. Katniss and Peeta are still alive.

This is very nice because she has been a whole day without water. She is feeling extremely weak.

The gamemakers do activate the first trap. A firestorm. Katniss is in the woods and the firestorm is chasing her. She jumps in a lake, but it burns all over her body.

It is a very strange meeting because she is hiding from him, because he is hunting other people down with some other participants. They walk past her but they don't notice her and gets away safely.

Peeta's group have Katniss cornered up a tree, so she throws a mutant beehive down on his group. Two members of the 5 person group die from the mutant bees. This is also a very strange encounter because Peeta fights off a member of his own group to help Katniss escape, leaving Katniss baffled. She doesn't have long to ponder this sudden change of heart, though. The bee venom knocks her out, as well as the other participants.

Katniss and Rue work as a team together to set up a trap for a team and get them away from their camp. The plan works and destroy their camp.

Katniss meets with Rue just as another participant kills her. Katniss immediatly kills the particpant afterwords with an arrow to the neck.

Katniss has just heard from the announcer that two participants, if they are from the same district and are the last alive, can survive the hunger games. So, she begins looking for Peeta.

Peeta has suffered a mortal wound to the leg, and has covered himself in mud to disguise himself from all of the other participants.

The Gamemakers have put a gift for every participant left at the place where they began. There are 5 people left: Katniss and Peeta are 2 of them. In the gift is a medicine for Peeta.

Peeta collects some berry's he doesn't realize that they are poisonous. One of the participants then steals them and eats them than he dies. There are now three participants left.

Everyday since the Katniss has gotten the medicine to Peeta, there has been a storm going on, keeping them in a cave. The storm stops. They can now go outside and get their food supply.

Morning: The Gamemakers have drained the surrounding landscape of all water sources, except the lake found at the Cornucopia. This is supposed to bring the last 3 participants together for the ultimate showdown. Ever vigilant, the duo moves out.

Night: Again, the Gamemakers have struck a nasty trick. They say that they have "revised" the rules, and that Katniss and Peeta must fight to the death. Both refuse to be used by the Gamemakers, and choose to commit suicide with the poisonous berrys Peeta has collected. Just as the berrys have gone in their mouths, the announcer sputters that the rules have been "revised" again, and they are both made the winners of the Hunger Games.

Afternoon: The Gamemakers have done something unspeakably vile. They have taken all the dead participants in the Hunger Games and reanimated them as blood-thirsty wolf-people. In the end, the wolf-people kill Cato and are called back by the Gamemakers, as Katniss and Peeta have won the Hunger Games.
