Primn was slected as a tribute, Katniss took her place. Peeta Mellark was also selected as a tribute for district 12. -
Train ride to The capitol
During the train ride to the Capitol, the two tributes from District 12 get to know their mentor a little more. Haymitch Abernathy advises them to follow whatever their stylist says. -

Story of Peeta and Katniss
District 12 is very poor and a lot of the people that live there are always hungry and die of starvation. Katniss and her family were starving and she thought that maybe she could find scraps of food in the garbage. Peeta's family owns a bakery and he finds Katnisssearching in the garbage, to find nothing. He then managesto give her two loaves of bred and saved her and her families life. (The story of Peeta and Katniss) -
Evauation
This is when each tribute gets to show the Gamemaker's there own personal strengths. The highest one can score is a 12, usually the tributes that have been trained for this get high 8's or 9's. Then Katniss scores an 11 which throws everyone off guard. -
Begining of hunger games

Rue's Help.
Katniss has placed herself in a tree as a means of protection from the Careers. They are the kids that have been trained for the Hunger Games their whole lives. Rue, the girl from district 11, helps Katniss and shows that a tracker jacker nest is above her head. Tracker jackers are mutated bees. Katniss drops this on the Careers which kills 2 of the girl tributes. (With the help of Rue) -
Peeta's plan.
The Careers were infuriated that Katniss dropped the nest on them and killed two of their tributes. One of the members, Cato, was going to kill Katniss but Peeta told her to run and saved her life. -
Change of rules
The games pause and an announcement is made so that all the remaining tributes can hear. The rules have been changed, now there can be two winners of the Hunger Games if they come from the same district. -

clove dies
Another announcement has been made saying that there will be supplies that each tribute desperately needs. This causes all of the remaining tributes to face each other and battle it out. While Katniss goes to retrieve her bag she gets into a battle with Clove, one of the Careers. Thresh, the other tribute from district 11, ends up smashing in Clove's head with a rock because she was apart of the alliance that killed Rue. -

Cato saw that Thresh killed Clove. It doesn't tell you how this happens but Cato manages to kill Thresh, keeping in mind that they are both big and strong tributes but Thresh is a lot bigger. -
final 3
The only tributes left are Cato, Peeta and Katniss. The Gamemakers throw in a twist and mutate the dead tributes into these dog/wolve creatures. All three escape and then Cato takes hold of Peeta and threatens to kill them both...Katinss shoots the "x" that Peeta wrote on Cato's hand and then he falls into the pack of mutated dogs and dies -
winner
After the death of Cato the rules change again. Now there can only be one winner, so Katinss and Peeta both take a hangful of the poisoned berries and are about to eat them when a hovercraft appears and they hear " Congratulations Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen you are the winners of the 74th Hunger Games"
