Sega Master System The Master System was Sega's attempt to jump into the console market, well it didn't work as well as planned as it was released far too late to compete with the Nintendo Entertainment System. Gave Sega the confidence to release another console in a few years.

Sega CD A attachment that even though was great didn't succeed very well, it's price was far too steep for the average consumer.

Sega Genesis Model 2 A slimmer version of the Genesis that removed unimportant pieces such as the headphone jack, the unused extension port (Was used in Japan for internet play). This is the version I grew up with and still own today.

Sega 32X Considered to be the Sega killer. Destroyed Sega as people did not want another attachment for the Genesis. Didn't last more than a few years before it died out and became the laughing stock of sega.

Sega Saturn The Sega Saturn is released and causes a big buzz in the gaming community. The system never caught on in America, but in Japan it was one of the best selling consoles they'd ever seen.

The Model 3, a super compact version of the genesis that retailed at the lowest price ever seen. Great price for what you were getting.

Dreamcast The last Dreamcast was the last sega console to ever be released, today it still has a huge following with games releasing every year to this day.

Sega leaves the console bussiness forever, unable to compete with the Playstation 2s DVD ability.
