Retro Jordan 1's
In 1985, Nike gave Jordan and his signature line of sneakers and apparel a unique logo - clearly, this line was created to be very different from Nike's previous basketball efforts. The Air Jordan 2 debuted in the 1986-87 season and was the first Air Jordan shoe to cross the $100 mark – up from $65 for the Air Jordan 1. Retro Jordan 3
The Air Jordan 3 first saw its return when Michael Jordan abruptly left the game of basketball at the end of 1993. For the first time in history of Jordan shoes, a shoe was brought back as a retro. Retro Jordan 4
Already triumphant in designs, Tinker Hatfield once again wowed audiences with the Air Jordan 4. Released in 1989, the shoe quickly rose to stardom being featured in multiple commercials and seen in Spike Lee’s film “Do the Right Thing.” Nubuck and mesh materials were installed onto the shoe as well as a triangular plastic piece that was connected to a hard plastic lace holder. Retro Jordan 5
The Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990. Four models of the Air Jordan V was released to the public. Original Air Jordan 5 V Grapes Two models which are the Black/Black-Metallic Silver and White/Fire Red-Black had MJs number “23” on the side. Limited to only 100 pairs each, and were given to unfortunate kids or auctioned off as charity. -
Retro Jordan 6
In addition to a Porsche-inspired rear pull tab and visible air the Air Jordan VI was the first Jordan with an inner bootie. The Air Jordan VI was originally released in 1991. -
Retro Jordan 7
The Air Jordan 7 originally released in 1992 and was once again designed by Tinker Hatfield. Unlike the previous four models, the 7 did away with the visible Air unit in the heel and "Nike Air" logo on the heel.While the shoe is expected to look a lot like the “Olympic” release, this alternate version will have a bit of a new twist to it, something that Tinker Hatfield would have designed for Michael Jordan in 1992 to wear for the Dream Team.
