    The Beginning and End

This is the time when the French Revolution was beginning and ended. At the time Louis XVI was ruling and they were in debt because of other wars before hand. "The Declaration of Man and Citizens"
I feel this was important because its when it started and the time it ended. I feel like that is probably the most important out of the timeline.

    The National Assembly

At this time they voted to establish the National Assembly to end the monarchy and beginning of representative government. The vote was the first deliberate act of revolution.

    The Woman's March

This is the time a little after the war when everyone thought the king's wife was hoarding food in the castle. The woman used bread on a diet and got furious with the Queen. The woman demanded that they move to Paris.
I feel this is important because this is a time period where the woman are fighting for what they want and woman didn't get a lot of rights back then so when they did speak up for what they believe it i find it very inspiring and them showing respect for themselves.

    New Constitution

This is when the National Assembly completed the new constitution and the king reluctantly approved.

    The Escape

The king and queen were trying to escape Paris. They got help and dressed as servants while they made the nobility dress as them so they wouldn't get caught.
I feel this is important because this is a time period where people were hungry and enemies with each other...it was kind of like "Don't Trust No One"
  • Period: to

    The Legislative

The legislative assembly responded by declaring war. The war eventually got really bad by the summer time.
I feel this is important because this is the time when war was declared and it started getting French very badly and this is what the french revolution is based on
  • Period: to

    During the war

During this time 20,000 men and women invaded the palace where the royal family was staying and massacred the royal guards and imprisoned the king and queen as well as their children.
I feel this is important because it gives an idea of some of the conflicts that happened during the war.
  • Period: to

    Sentenced to Death

The convention found the king guilty and sentenced him to death. He went up to beheaded peacefully.
I feel this is important because as much as the king been through and his time he ended up being beheaded for his actions and took his consequence.
  • Period: to

    Turning Point

During this time people from the National Convention started turning on Robespierre. They demanded is arrest and execution.
I feel this is important because this is the turning point on when people are a part of the war started turning on their own people.
