    It was a war in North America that was apart of the 7 year war between Britain and France. The British ended up winning even though they lost a few battles.

    A British produced boundary marked in the Appalachian mountains at the eastern continental divide. It prohibited Anglo American colonists from setting on lands acquired from the French following the French and Indian War.

    The Sugar Act was a law passed by parliament of Great Britain to regulate trading. They did this to encourage trade with West Indies. This law taxed sugar and decreased taxes on molasses.

    The Stamp Act of 1766 was to help the British get money because of the costly 7 years war. They were supposed to be used to pay for the military, and maintain several regiments of British soldiers.

    The Townshend Acts of 1767 initiated taxes on glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. So if someone bought any of that stuff they would be taxed. This tax was to help pay for expenses involving the goverment.

    The Boston Massacre was a deadly riot that happened on kings street in Boston. It started as a fight against colonists and one British soldier, but it quickly got to a slaughter.

    The Teat Act was a law that forced American colonists to pay taxes for tea. This included the money for shipping the tea, and ordering the tea. This law made colonists furious and caused the Boston Tea Party.

    The Boston Tea Party was an act done by the colonists. Late at night American colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians boarded three British tea ships and dumped all the tea into the sea. They did this in revolt of the Tea Act.

    Intolerable Acts were laws passed by the British from the Boston Tea Party. These laws punished the colonists and caused them to riot.
  • 1st Continental Congress

    It was a meeting of delegates of 12 British colonies. Delegates discussed boycotting British goods so they could get plans for America and discussed the Second continental army.
