In 2016, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" was released for Nintendo 3DS. 3d animation got better. -
In 2018, Nintendo released "Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee" for the Nintendo Switch. This game had 3d animation and allows players to catch pokemon in "Pokemon Go" and use them when playing "Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee". -
On January 28, 2022, Nintendo released "Pokemon Legends Arceus" for the Nintendo Switch. This was the first RPG game in the Pokemon series.
