    The Enlightenment
    The Enlightenment forward into the eighteenth century a difference in thought happened, the 'movement' known as the Enlightenment. The people of the Enlightenment convinced by the scientific revolts of the century beforehand, thought in cracking the light in science and purpose on the world.
  • 1st Fleet

    1st Fleet
    First fleet had 11 ships that left Portsmouth in Janurary 1787. With more than 1480 men, women and children aboard, most British but the rest African, American and French convicts. The First Fleet wanted too find this big peice of land and call it their own, but little did they know that the Aboriginals have been living on the land (Australia) for Aboriginal people, who had lived in detachment for 40,000 years.
  • The Involuntary Migrantion

    During 1901 over 15 Million people had departed from England to Australia in pursuit for a better life in the New World.
  • The Assasination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand

    The Assasination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand
    Franz and and his wife Sophie were killed by a Serbian nationlist in Sarajevo on a trip in 1914 June 28th. Gavrilo Princip shot Ferdinand when he was travelling in his after, just that morning after already surviving an assasination attack. This was one of many events that led too cause of war in Europe at the end of July 1914.

    The start of WW1
    Countries started too pair up, if one country was attacked their allies were bound to support them. In the 20th century 1914 Germany have the best military build-up, t that including Russia the competition in militarism, pushed countries to be involved in a war. Also Europe not only contributed to the beginning of the war but also to the addition at the end of the war, by all countries trying to prove their power and control.
  • Gallipoli Battle

    Gallipoli Battle
    The Gallipoli campaign was a joint Military action of allied power which involved, British Empire, Australia, New Zealand, India, United Kingdom, France, the French and West Africa. The operation was too open up the eastern and western front of Gallipoli and too attempt to protect and control the Dardanelles Strait which was shut off by the Ottoman Empire perusing their entry into into the war.
