A. In the era of monarchy in Ancient Greece a single person had all the power, Kings
B. At first kings were elected into peer but then they insisted that power fell into the hands of there eldest sons
C.in the end aristocrats found that they held power over the king and eventually overthrew monarchy and took power themselves

800 BCE
Oligarchy
A. In the era of oligarchy few people shared power and most of the time it was wealthy men called oligarchs
B. To keep control they bypassed laws ther that only made the rich more wealthy and used the army to reinforce these horrid laws
C. In the end hate for the oligarchs grew. The poor turned to other leaders that said they would improve there lives then used there army's to overthrow the oligarchs.
