The Cowmazing Save!
Robert saved Apron from chocking on a goiter.He reached his hand to the back of Apron's throat and grabbed hold of the goiter. He pulled and pulled, even in searing pain he managed to get it out with large marks on his arm of where Apron yanked with his teeth. Apron slowly fainted down on the side of the road. She was pregnant.Robert helped deliver her two calf's, Bob and Bib. -
The Pigtastic Reward!
Mr.Tanner found out that his cow Apron was saved and gave Robert a baby piglet. Pa would only let him keep him if he took good care of him. -
Money and the Bad Report Card!
Aunt Matty gave Robert some money for The Rutland Fair even though he got a D in English class. Aunt Matty is the only one who can read certain letters, even though she's not Robert's real aunt, just one of Moma's best friends. -
The Blue Ribbion!
Robert went to The Rutland Fair with Mr.Tanner and showed his hogs and Pinky. Pinky got the 1st place ribbion for best behaved pig. Robert also bought a used bar of soap with the money Aunt Matty gave him. -
The Hussy Fit!
Robert and Haven asked Ira to weasel his dog Hussy and he did as they asked. They put Hussy in the barrel and closed the lid. The barrel moved numerous times. They looked into the barrel to see Hussy whimpering out. They had to shoot Hussy because she was already half way dead. Never again will Haven weasel a dog. -
Breading Pinky!
Robert and Haven needed to bread Pinky to see if she could haven Piglets. Mr.Tanner brought over his hog. His hog was very large and strong and everyone wanted him to bread their pigs. He bread pinky and blood trickled down her back legs. Later on:Pinky never had piglets. -
Raising the Sick "Ol" Farm!
Haven told Robert that when he passed away that he would have to take on the duties and raise the farm and take care of the family. Robert told Haven that he would withdrawl from school but Haven wanted him to learn and be smart and keep learing, so in the end, Haven decided that Robert needed to stay in school. -
Pinky is Not so Pink Anymore!
Haven was getting worse within the day and Robert couldn't find any food that they could eat. Haven told Robert that they had to kill Pinky for food. Haven slit Pinky's throat and drained the guts from Pinky's once living body. Robert kisses Haven's hand wishing that she could come back. He forgives Haven and they both cry because of what they just did. -
Goodnight Papa.
Haven died an early morning. Robert was sad. Sad for all the pigs that had died because of Haven. Haven had died and Robert wasn't gonna get him back, but that would be the day. The day no pigs would die.
