    War time meeting of the Allied in 1945. The issues discussed were, the future of Germany, Eastern Europe, and it signaled the end of the war against Japan and the wartime allience.
  • Beginning of the Cold War

    1947, Bernard Baruch said "today we are in a midst of s Cold War." The Cold War was an open struggle for power and influence. Americans were intent on preventing the spread of communism in Western Europe.
  • Berlin Blockade/Airlift

    Massive transport of essential supplies into Berlin. It began when Joseph Stalin restricted access into West Berlin closing any transport that lead into the city. They only had 36 days left of supplies in the city. In order to keep communism in West Berlin. So the U.S. started air lifting supplies in until May 12 1949 when the blockade went down did the U.S stopped air lifting supplies.

    Physical barrier, relaxed border controls 1989 November 9th. The Soviet Union declared the 1944 London proticol invalid on November 11, 1958 the western powers of France, uk and the U.S. forffited their rights in West Berlin.
