  • Berlin Blockade 1948-1940

    The Berlin Blockade was also known as the Airlift. During this there was a massive transfer of essential supplies flown into Berlin. As more supplies came in the economy increased. This blockade was established by a guy referred as Joseph Stalin. After all of the airlift was done researchers estimated that about 75 British and Us airman were killed.

    By having this terrible war it caused massive disruption in the Southeast Asia and the US. This was known as the most important military encounter of the Cold War. During this war many people died but most importantly it was when assassination of Diem. Diem was a staunchly anticommunist Vietnamese statesman.

    The Cuban Missile was considered the climax of the Cold War. This crisis was againist the Soviet Union and the US. Which was also a stand off between John F. Kennedy and Soviet premier Nikita Krushchev over the Soviet plan. The Soviet plan was baout the installing of a nuclear missle in Cuba. This whole crisis lasted about 13 days.
