    The Berlin Blockade was the first sign of significant trnsion between the URRS and the U.S.A. The USSR isolated the Communist region of berlin from the rest of Germany, in response the U.S.A transported aid via aeroplane.

    In 1991 the USSR and the U.S.A put an end to the Nuclear Arms Race as both sides reflected on history and realised that Nuclear waepons are for too distructive. Both sides signed a treaty which radically reduced the amount of nuclear weapons that each nation could have posession of.
