  • French and Indian War

    A war between the French and its Indian allies against the British. They fought over territory of the forts. French and its Indian allies had a edge over the British taking forts in Lake Ontario and Lake George. Then later in the war the British cut off French supplies and the British won and left the land with no French or Indians in the colonies. Finally the war ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763

    The Indians rebelled against the British. They suprised th British by capturing most of their forts in the Ohio River Valley and along the Great Lakes.The Indians goal was to weaken the British and lure the French back into North America.
