  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    Colonies had to pay militia then Great Britain Taxed on Sugar. Anything with sugar in it is taxed. Molasses and Syrup were both taxed.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    It was passed to pay for barracks and stables for soldiers and officers. The people payed for houses and barns for the soldiers.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was passed so that England could get money off the colonists through taxing stamps.
  • The Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act
    This Act was passed to get rid of the ridiculous acts by the British. Townshend thought that no one could argue that the British government had the right to tax the colonists for there goods.
  • The Tea Act

    The Tea Act
    The British taxed the colonists tea because it was in very high demand. Any tea from India is imported by licenses be exported from this kingdom as merchandise to any of British colonies.
  • Boston Port Act

    Boston Port Act
    King George III realized they were losing control of the colonies so they passed another act to keep control.
  • MA Government Act

    MA Government Act
    Any charges for murder they would be taken to Great Britain for trial. If anyone has charges they can go to trial in Great Britain.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    This act was to give Quebec more land and freedom for catholic faith. All such territories islands and countries which have since the tenth of February then made part of the govern are here annexed.
