    Sugar Act
    The act said that British is taxing the colonists for sugar,rum,molasses, and syrups. They made the sugar act to reduce the French and Indian war.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    The soldiers were sent to the colonies to protect the people. Also the soldiers could take any house, shelter or barrack if needed.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Act said that people had to pay for a stamp on any paper or document. It also said that you need a stamp on any peace of paper.
  • The Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act
    It said that anything that people brang into the colones had to be taxed. Also soldiers where aloud to search threw people houses to find anything that was against the law.

    If you wanted to import tea you would have to have a license. Also the tea would be taxed if you brang it to the colones.

    It says that the British wanted control of the colonies. They are also were not allowed to load cargo on a ship and export it.

    This act was passed because they didn't want the people of the colones to hold their own meetings. They made it so that the government has to host the meeting if people want to have one.

    This was past so Quebec could own more territory. Also Quebec got their old territory back. The people of Quebec would also have more freedom for religion.
