    This is important because Berlin started to become even more separated by splitting into two different currency zones.

    This is important because Berlin was blocked off. This is a sign of troubled times and war.

    This is important because Berlin was able to receive much needed supplies and goods.

    This is important because there is a bit of union and settlement between Berlin.

    This is important because West Germany is now part of one single government.

    This is important because it shows that Berlin was able to receive enough supplies to survive and be substantial.

    This is important because East Germany has adopted a democratic government.

    This is important because it shows continual segregation. East Germany's and West Germany's border is closed, and so is the border between East Germany and West Berlin.

    This is important because the government of East Germany didn't want their residents to leave so badly that they made it against the law and held people there against their will.

    This is important because barriers were built, making the separation a little bit more serious.

    This is important because is shows that the peace between the two was broken, since the purpose of the gate was to represent and symbolize peace.

    This is important because West Berlin citizens were also not allowed to leave. There was so much tension between Berlin that they didn't allow their citizens to "side"/cross over to East Berlin.

    This is important because the President makes a statement saying that he is "a Berliner." This reveals his feelings about the separation of Berlin.

  • Four Power's Agreement

    This is important because Berlin is now able to visit West Berlin. It is a mutual agreement between Berlin and West Berlin.

  • President Ronald Reagan Visits

    This is important because President Reagan expressed his feelings of tearing down the Berlin Wall.

  • Berlin Wall Opened

    This is important because it shows the reunion of the sectors of Berlin.

  • Brandenburg Gate Opened

    This is important because it symbolizes that the peace is restored.

  • Germany Reunited

    This is important because it shows the closing of the separation of Germany. They were finally able to agree and work together.
