Five acts passed by the British government as a result of the Boston Tea Party. Some of the results were that Boston Harbor was closed until the colonists paid damages for dumping the tea into Boston Harbor & the Quartering Act was passed which required the colonists to provide housing for British soldiers. These acts were known as the Intolerable Acts in the colonies but the British called them the Coercive Acts.
