The French and Indian War
The end of the French and Indian War changed the American colonist's In a huge way because there was many taxes. -
Proclamation of 1763
It closed off the frontier to colonial expansion. This means that lands North and West of the Appalachian Mountains was closed to settlement. The goal of this act was to stop conflict between the British and Native Americans. (symptomatic stage) -
The Sugar Act
The british imposed taxes on sugar, wine, and other important goods to recieve more money from the colonists. Some of the money was used on things like the security of the colonists. -
Stamp Act
This required colonists to pay a tax on all printed goods. It was used to help pay the costs of defending and protecting the American Frontier near the Appalachian Mountains. -
The Declaratory Act
This act stated that parliament, “had, hath, and of right ought to have, full power and authority to make laws and statutes of sufficient force and validity to bind the colonies and people of America, subjects of the Crown of Great Britain, in all cases whatsoever.” There was a huge connection between this act and the Stamp Act -

This act stated that glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea were taxed. -
The Boston Massacre
Tensions had been building up from the very beggining of the year when one day in March a group of colonists lash out into the extreme bloodshed. It is stated that a soldier fired a shot into the crowd which was followed by more shots which left 5 dead and several wounded. -
The Tea Act
American colonists saw this act as another "taxation without representation" which stated American Colonists could not buy tea from anywhere else except one company. (incubation stage) -
The Boston Tea Party
It was a rebel of the colonists against british government. When Boston officials refused to return three shiploads of tea to Britain, a group of colonists boarded the ship and destoryed the tea by throwing it into the Boston Harbor. (symptomatic stage) -

Battle of Bunker Hill
The leaders of colonial forces in Boston learned that British generals were planning to send troops out from the city to occupy the unoccupied hills surrounding the city. In response they sent many troops down to stop it. It went back and forth before the British ended with a victory. (crisis stage) -
Constitution of Virginia
It is a document that defies and limits the power of the state government and the basic rights of the citizens of the US. The first Virginia constitution was related to the Declaration of Independence for the first thirteen states. Virginia was the first state to adopt their own consitution. -

Was signed saying that we are free and independent from the British. -

It was between the British and American army. If the british won, they said that Philidelphia would stay in the hands of the British. -
