The Playstation 2 was the follow up to the Sony Playstation. It enhanced video game graphics for new decade and brought enjoyment to people everywhere for the next few years. It became the best selling console (as of this writing) of all time. -
Started in February 2004, Facebook eventually took over the now defunct Myspace as an outlet for people to share photos and information about themselves. This evil creation would soon be labeled "social media" and spawn even more ways for people to seek more attention. This need for attention has cultivated an epidemic, that future computer scientists will have to find a solution to. -
The Motorola RAZR V3 released in late 2004, and it was the phone to have for my generation (in high school). It was the thinnest phone at the time, and paved the way for future phone aesthetics (even if the folding thing would not return until nearly 20 years later). -
The Nintendo Wii was a console that used motion controls, and revolutionized the gaming sector since it got EVERYONE to play. This was the first console that I saw my grandmother be able to play. It was surreal. I feel that the Wii was a precipice of what was to come for casual gaming (i.e. the mass population) being so widely accepted in our society. Nowadays, everyone is a "gamer" since mobile gaming has taken over the world. -
The Apple iPhone was introduced in June 2007, and it helped mold the device almost all of us have in our pockets at any given time: the smart phone. Steve Jobs gets credit for inventing it, but in reality it was a team over at Apple.
