First Battle That Used Trench Warfare
The first battle in world war 1 to use trench warfarer begins. In this battle people would dig deep trenches to hid in and shoot their enemy. Any one who tried to get out the trench into the "no man's land" was immediantly shot by the enemy and killed. -
Battle of Ypres
It was the british against the german. When the germans arrived the british started to get beaten really badely because the germans have been putting their troops into shape and making them practice firing, but the british thought that they didn't have to work at all because they thought they were the best military in the world. The truth is though that if you dont practice a skill you are likely to lose it or get reallt bad at it. -
United Kingdom's "military area"
The United Kingdom declares that the North Sea is a military area. Well that may seem like no big deal but they actually had a plan behind doing it. The did this so that way the Germans would not be able to get any goods from their ports. -

Everyone decided to make an unoffical true at the moment so that way they can celebrate their Christmas. They called a unoffical ceasefire and exchanged gifts, sang songs, and just talked about their lives and families.
