    Mom read the Bible to my sister and me to comfort us when we were alone. This one was a children's version with lots of great illustrations.

    My babysitter's son, who was one year younger than me, learned to read before I did! I did not like that!

    I recently found this book at my grandma's house while helping clean it out after she died. It brought back a world of memories. This was my absolute favorite book during that time.

    My daughter brought home the first in this trilogy from school one day with the intention of getting AR points. She read the first few pages, and decided she disliked this book. I picked it up, began reading, and was hooked! I made her check out the remaining books from her school library so I could read them!
