Let's consider our technology trends over the next three year, including goals for our future ready students... By 2022, we can accomplish the following:
1. Rubrics and assessments will be implemented to measure outcomes of student instructional technology use based on ISTE standards
2. 100% of students will engage in instructional activities that are based on ISTE standards
3. 100% of teachers will engage students in instructional activities that are based on ISTE standards -
Establishing metrics and tools for evaluating instructional technology implementation is an essential component of school accountability for the ISTE standards. Benchmarks over the next 3 years will be essential: By the end of 2018, 50% of teachers will provide students with 2 digital learning activities/semester that reflect the M or R of the SAMR model By the end of 2019, 75% or more teachers... By the end of 2020, 90% or more teachers... By the end of 2021, 95% or more teachers...
