  • Great Awakening

    The Great Awakening is when all are equal in the eyes of God. Some ideas that came out of the Great Awakening was that you should treat your slaves well and Christianize them, they were trying to start a spiritual renewal.
  • Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act was created to make sure that 3 cents per gallon of sugar were being collected because in the past people wouldn't abide by the rules.
  • Stamp Act

    The stamp Act was the first real revenue tax on all colonies, this act mad a lot of people upset. They started taxing all kinds of documents such as diplomas, newspapers, bonds etc.
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre was when some men threw some snow balls at each other, but they began threatening the soldiers more and more, that it got to the point were a soldier yelled "Fire". This resulted in 5 people being killed and 11 injured.
  • Treaty of Paris

    America is now independent and they get all the land that is between the Appalachians and the Mississippi. The Treaty of Paris also grants America as allies with France forever.
  • Bill of Rights

    Now because of the Bill of Rights 12 amendments are signed into law.
  • The Invention of the Cotton Gin

    The Cotton Gin was invented to increase the production of picking cotton by slaves. It was invented by Eli Whitney
  • Fugitive Slave Act

    The Fugitive Slave Act was created to require all Americans to return runaway slaves.
