    Camtasia: Presentation Creation and Editing Software. Camtasia is my favorite digital creating and editing software. It is extremely user-friendly. It has the ability to incorporate video, audio, text, photographs, music, et al. I’ve used it to create personal class projects as well as presentations for my students. It comes with a wonderful 30-day free trial.

    I used the ShowMe app on my iPad to create interactive lessons. There is an online ShowMe community too--great for adding Sociocultural elements to your classroom. The app is free with the option to purchase upgrade elements.

    Flocabulary.com and Flocabulary.com Current Events: I’ve used both these websites with my 6th graders. Flocabulary is an educational website that uses rap to teach various subjects as well as to share current events with students. My students loved Flocabulary.com.

    Zoom is a video conferencing app (and software). It's fantastic for online instruction. It can be used in video mode or audio-only mode. I have conducted language coaching sessions using Zoom conferencing. There is a free option.
  • PowerPoint

    PowerPoint: Presentation Software. I created a PowerPoint presentation on a Social Studies topic that I converted into video. Videos can be posted on YouTube or Vimeo.
