    Before USB, files were saved on big Disks called Floppy Disks. They Were big and couldnt hold much information or memory.

  • Atari Pong

    Pong is the Earliest arcade Video Game where the point is to beat the other person in a game of tennis. While Computer Space came before it Pong was the one who hit popularity. It was produced by Atari to be an Arcade Machine before being put in a console.

    Intellivision is a Console made by Mattel in 1979. The word Intellivision means Intelligent Telivision. A total of 125 games were relased for it. In 2009, video game website IGN named the Intellivision the No. 14 greatest video game console of all time.

    The Microvision was the very first handheld game console that used cartridges. It was released by the Milton Bradley Company in 1979.

    The Sega Master System or SMS was also a 8-bit Console relased by Nintendos biggest Rival Sega. Even thought its build and Specs beat Nintendo it still failed to beat it. The SMS was built specifically to face the NES but failed to do so.

    The Apple Portable is Apple first battery-powered portable Macintosh personal computer. Even though sales were low this was what lead to the popular laptop Apple Macbook

    The Game Boy was the a Portable Device by Nintendo and the first edition the the Game Boy series. The Game Boy was Nintendos second Portable Device after Game & Watch. The Game Boy combines specs from the NES adn Game & Watch.
  • Atari Lynx

    The Atari Lynx was a 16-bit Device crowning itself with the worlds first Hanheld Game with Colour LCD. The Lynx had innovative Features, one being Backlight and another was being able to Connect itself with 17 other players.

    One of the first ultrabooks that were powerful and resembled today's laptops. However even being advance, its size and weight however made it not portable and sales didnt kick off till Apple lowered the price

    The Sega Game Gear was a 8-bit Game that shared simmilar hardware with the SMS Console and could play almost all games that the SMS could. The SGG was a direct competition the Lynx and Game Boy

    The Super Nintendo Entertainment System was a 16-bit game and was Nintendos second Home Console. After getting Global Success it became the most successful 16-bit Console even when the 32-bit era started.

    The Sega Saturn is a 32-bit Console which used CD-ROM for its games. It played many Arcade games as well as countless orignal games.
  • Sony PlayStation

    The Sony PlayStation was the First Console of a new Console producer Company, Sony. The Brand now holds 4 home Consoles. The PS1 competed with the Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn.
  • Nintendo 64

    The Nintendo 64 was a 64-bit Console and was the 3 Home console from Nintendo and the last Nintendo Console to use ROM Cartridiges. The Nindendo 64 released with two launch games, Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64, Super Mario 64 was a big hit.

    The Sony PlayStation 2 was Sonys second Home Console. It competed with Nintendo GameCube and Xbox. The PS2 went on to become the Most Successful console ever with over 3,870 Game titles. Even with the PS3 out the PS2 was still popular until January 2013. A month after PS4 was announced.

    The Nintendo GameCube was Nintendos first Console to use Optical Discs. Its competetors were Xbox and Playstation 2. It could use a second-screen in-game and another Controller.

    The Xbox was Microsofts first edition the Console industry. Xbox faced Playstation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. Unlike other companies, Microsoft included Xbox Live which is a Fee based System which allowed you to play Multiplayer. It is thought that without Halo: Combat Evolved, Xbox wouldnt have been so popular

    The XBox 360 is the second Console in the Xbox series and is the follow up to its previous Successor Xbox. Xbox 360 competes with PS3 and Nintndo Wii. The Xbox Live was better than befor providing more than last time. This time signing up is free and has Subscription Based varities. It also followed up with Kinect which could sense body movement to play games

    The PlayStation 3 was the Follow up to the previous successor PlayStation 2. It competed with Xbox 360 and the Wii. It was the first Console to use Blu-ray Discs. Now it came with Playstation Network which was like Xbox Live but free. When PS4 was announced Sony said that PS3 shall support PS3 until 2015.

    The Nintendo Wii competed with Xbox 360 and PS3. Between all three of the top Consoles Wii lead in the first month of its release. A feature with Wii is WiiConnect24 which allows the user to recieve messages and Update during Standby mode.

    The PS4 is one of the two latest editions to the Consoles family. So far PS4 has double the sales of Xbox One but when Xbox announced Kinect will come seperaltely the numbers are closing in. Sony had Hired Bungie (producers of Halo) to help them out creating a Controller good for Shooters

    The Xbox One competes with the Wii U and PlayStation 4. Said to be a step back from XBox 360, Xbox One has received a lot of criticism however is catching up in sales because they finally sold the Kinect seperately and got exclusive games.
