CD Player
The first compact disc player was created by the companies Sony and Phillips who had decided to do a joint collaboration in hopes of providing a new effective means of digital audio. The first CD was successfully created in October 1982 in Japan.CD players had a very good run in the past decades since the first release but then began to decline in the late 2000's with the rise of other digital audio technologies. -
Smart TV
first thought in the early 2000's then in early 2010's Smart Tv's began to become a hot commodity within the technology community and companies such as LG, Samsung, Apple created a device that provided consumers, all in one internet access. Equipped with an internet connect users are able to use multiple streaming services such as Netflix, Pluto, Philo, to watch tv not accessible on regular cable. In recent years smart tv's have been regularly used by the average consumer. -
Blackberry
What was once the most talked about electronic device and now in obscurity the Blackberry. Blackberry was created in 1980's by co-CEOs Mike Lazairidis and Jim Balsillie of the Canadian brand Research In Motion later renamed Blackberry. Over the years Lazairidis, Balsillie found better ways to improve and refine the product, thus releasing the Blackberry Smartphone in 2002. This release proved to have a huge impact on phones and technology. As years progressed blackberry ended in late 2010's. -
IPod
Created within the Apple company. Steve Jobs the creator of Apple had already curated electronic devices. With his introduction in 2007 of the IPod, Jobs revolutionized the way in which we listen to music by providing a more versatile and simple way of listening to as much music that you wanted without the hassle. Over the years Apple has added more modifications to the device as time progressed to be as effective as possible for its users. In 2022 Apple announced it was discontinuing Ipods. -
Kindle Fire
Released by Amazon which was founded by Jeff Bezos in March of 2011. Kindle Fire's were curated to provide an aid in how we read it was an extra element beyond just electronically reading, kindles provided much more. Kindles were designed for more than reading. Users were able to listen and stream music, stream videos, movies, surf the web and take photos. Over the years Bezo's has improved the device by adding many features.
