Kerr-McGee takes over sponsorship of the club, and Oklahoma City Swim Club becomes Kerr-McGee Swim Club.

Barbara Binning fills up the trophy case for Kerr-McGee Swim Club; Binning won 8 out of 8 events setting eight state records in 1964.

Like many other things at Kerr-Mc Gee the K-M Swim club is on the grow - 150 Members! It's on the "win" list too. THe summer season 100 member swim group one four regional meets this year, including it's own Oklahoma City Open held in June.

Bette Binning holds and official diploma certifying her as a 1976 Olympic Judge - Binning was the first female U.S. swimming official to be elected to officiate at the Olympics. Binning's rise to Olympic judge began with taking her children to swimming lessons.."...it was their choice. 2014, American Energy Partners is established and agrees to sponsor the team; Chesapeake Swim becomes American Energy Swim Club. The team has honored a long standing and continued it's long standing history in the Oklahoma City area. While there have been some changes along the way our spirits remain committed to swimming and the pillars of excellence that have always set apart our team, and propelled our swimmers towards excellence.
