I have a lesson with the same groups once in a week. That's why I have to plan my activities according to the lesson hours. I choose every Thursday to try different instruction methods and collect data.
I will try to integrate technology into my lessons and I aim to hear student voice more and increase collaboration. -
To make a comparison, I plan to carry out a teacher-led lesson and paper pencil fill in the blanks style activities with the students about the sustainability theme on our first lesson and get reflections from the kids at the end of the lesson.
-
At the second lesson, I plan to make a collaborative lesson with another country using a videoconference tool about the Natural resources and get reflections from the students.
While talking about the natural resources, the students will try virtual reality glasses. -
At the third lesson, I want my students to speak for the future. By using iPad, I ask them to give voice for some objects and create messages for the wellbeing of our planet. We will use augmented reality technology here.

This week, we are going to try game based learning and try some digital games about recycling. We will create a recycling challenge and we try to create our own digital treasure hunt style game.
-
About the theme reducing the litter, I ask my students to create an iconic supermarket with some roles such as customer or sales officer. Then I will give them responsibility to role play. We will record the process and create a video.
-
We will join a Kahoot game about the recent subject instead of in class paper tests to see whether this interactivity helps me to engage students in my lesson. I plan to observe the whole process, use some surveys, reflections and videos from the activities.
