Students and Teachers freedom of speech

    that the congress said that they wont make no law of abridging the freedom of speech or the press for the rights of student freedom of speech.
  • Tinker v. Des Monies

    student want to protest by wearing black armbands to school but the teachers disagree to wear that for school but the supreme court say that they can wear whatever they want.
  • Bethel v. Faser

    although we have freedom of speech at school we are not able to do or say certain things because it disrupts the learning environment and the supreme court wont allow that to happen.
  • Hazelwood v Kuhlmeier

    The students wanted to write a newspaper but the supreme court wouldn't allow that unless it was a classroom activity.
  • Morse v. frederick

    a student in high school made a sign across the street from his school but the supreme court said to the student that you shouldn't have done that really disrespectful and distracted to other classmate and teachers. even though you still have freedom of speech you shouldn't have made that sign.
