    The Foreign Intellegience Surveillance Act enabled the government to warrantlessly track US citizens', and even some foreigners' phone calls, internet searches, etc.

    Essentially allowed federal agents to take action based on suspicion. Caused uprising and many people believe the act leads to racial profiling.
