    The South wanted all the states to be enslaved. The North wanted the opposite. The North and the South are both at fault because the number of states on each side are equal.
  • Uncle Tom's Cabin

    Uncle Tom's Cabin
    South said that the book Uncle Tom's Cabin wasn't true about what they did to slaves. The South banned the book. The North needed to stop slavery because this book make it look worse than it already was. The South is more at fault because that book made the South look really bad
  • Compromise of 1850

    The South didn't get California. The North was happy because they got California. The South was more at fault because they didn't get any land.
  • Dred Scott

    Slave owner brought a slave to a non slave state and Dred took it to court that his slave owner couldn't take him back because he brought Dred to a non save state.The North didn't think Dred should go back because it was in a non slave state. The North is more at fault because the government would say a slave is a persons property in that time period.

    The South was afraid that John was going to help the slaves escape or start slave uprisings.The North was thanking him for being good and helping the enslaved. The South was more at fault because they were afraid of what Brown would do.

    South didn't want Lincoln to win because he would ban slavery and when Lincoln did win the North and South separated. The North wanted Lincoln to win because he would help bring the North and the South together. The South would be more at fault because if he won they wouldn't be together anymore they would separate.
