This is when Bethany got attacked by the shark. She lost half of her blood, and they found a paramedic, and he was takingn care of hr until the ambulance got there. It took them a while, but they couldn't wait any longer so they put her in the back of the truck until they met up with the ambulance.

This is when Bethany's family could see her... a day after the attack. So that means, that it took a whole day of surgery.

This is the part where Bethany had to learn how do do some stuff that she could do with two arms, but now only one, such as learning how to tie shoes again, put in and take off clothes, and other tips she would need to know.

Bethany got an email from a kid named Logan's mother. She said that her son (Logan), had lost his arm in a wadingboard accident. So Bethany called him up and talked to him for a while, and toled him to never give up. So when they hung up, she heard a little more happiness in his voice.

When Bethany waws in the hospital she decided to wanted to get back in the water again. So while she was trying to build up her strength, she wasn't even allowed to go to parties in her honor!

Bethany was thinking about when she was getting back in the water on Thanksgiving, but her friends went before that and she went with them, and was surfing!
