  • SHP Tech Mentor Training (2 Hours)

    In this session we will clarify the role of the SHPTech Mentors in the Freshman "Out of the Box" on 8/17-8/19 and Freshman Orientation on 8/29. Mentors will get training in key applications in order to help facilitate student/faculty training in coming days.
  • Freshman "Out of the Box"

    In these sessions, Tech Mentors will assist in the distribution and orientation of devices to the Freshman class @ SHP. You will most likely be rotated through this training. Specific topics will include AUP ,Insurance and contract, features and functionality, Network Protocol etc.

    Tech mentors work with Departments

    Tech mentors may want to be available for department training and consultation these days prior to start of school.
  • Freshman Orientation (2 Hour)

    In this session we will train and orient the students to school wide technology practices and policies established earlier. Students will produce deliverables, share using tools, explore school wide technologies, etc. The focus will be "hands on" and simulate the day to day skill set needed to function in the 1:1 environment.
