He wrote the book Opus Majus, which was all of the knowledge Roger had accumulated. He stressed the importance of the use of lenses for magnification to aid natural vision.

    Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa, Italy. Galilei discovered the law of pendulum. He noticed a swing going back and forth and after much work he discovered the period of each swing was exactly the same.     Kepler was born in in the Holy Roman Empire of Germany. Kepler was the first to correctly explain planetary motion. Keplers Laws of Planetary Motion- 1st rule- Planets move in ellipses with the Sun at one focus. 2nd rule-The radius vector describes equal areas in equal times. 3rd rule-The squares of the periodic times are to each other as the cubes of the mean distances. All these finding were published in his books.
