    Discovery of the Solarstem

    Discovery of the Solarstem
In the year of 1512 Copernicus got curious and discovered our solar system. He also discovered the Heliocentrism theory during this time. This was very important because because everybody thought that Earth was the center of the universe. He found the solar system after he moved back to his home town Poland. He was a Polish astronomer at the time of the finding.

    Lead Pencil

    Lead Pencil
The lead pencil was first created in 1564 by an old mine found in England. Many don't know exactly who made this but it was a great creation. This "lead" pencil did not contain any lead, however did have some other writing material. This is important because this gave people a way to write to each other.
  • Properties of Gravity

    Properties of Gravity
Galileo demonstrated the properties of gravity on top of the leaning towers of Pisa by dropping a 1 pound weight and a 100 pound weight at the same time. Proving the force of gravity is true, both weight's hit the ground at the same time. This was important because people were wondering what brought them back to the ground.
  • Telescope

    Telescope
The telescope was first made in the 1600's by a dutch guy named Hans Leppershey. Many are uncertain who first created the telescope, but most credit is given to Leppershey because he is an eye glass maker. Many think that Galileo was the one who created the telescope because he was the first person to use it, but like I said before, many are unsure. This helped us humans a lot because it helped us discover our solar system and other outer space objects.
  • The discovery of The Moon

    The discovery of The Moon
Proved in Galileo's booklet he discovered the not only our moon, but Jupiter's moon's. This was a great discovery because that is what brings the tides in and what gives us light in the night.
  • Microscope

    Microscope
The microscope was invented between 1590 by an eyeglass worker named Zacharias Janssen. Many people think his father, Hans helped him, but many are unsure. He invented this in a town called Leppersey. This was important because it helped us see the little things that was objects, like minerals.
  • Barometer

    Barometer
In the year of 1643 the barometer was invented by a physicist named Evangelista Torricelli. He was a student of Galileo, that must have been why he did so well many say. This was very important because it told people the humidity in the air.
  • Three Laws of Motion

    Three Laws of Motion
Isaac Newton created the three laws of motion. These laws described what motion is like. The first law is: An object at rest stays at rest unless acted upon by a force, and an object in motion stays in motion. The seconds law is: The greater the mass is for an object, the greater force needed to accelerate it. And the third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This helps us understand the basic education needed to know what motion is.
