Rollout 1 of Chromebooks
Chromebooks begin roll out to high school and middle school English teachers and to 5th grade teachers. -
Smarter Balanced Field Testing
Chromebooks utilized by students in grades 3-8 and high school to take Smarter Balanced field test. -
Completion of Chromebook rollout phase 2
Chromebook carts are now in 3rd -5th grade classes district wide. Carts are also in middle school and high school math and English classes. -
3 District Technology Project Teachers hired
By the end of the 13/14 school year, 3 district technology project teachers will be hired to faciltate implementation of the DOD technology grant over the next two years. -
Professional Development for teachers
Teachers participate in online /blended learning during the summer to prepare for technology integration into the math curriculum beginning in the 2014/15 school year. -
Ongoing technology support and instruction
District project teachers provide training and classroom support to teachers in embedding technology into everday classroom practices. -
Begin full implementation of Common Core Standards
Full implementation of Common Core standards. Technology is integral to this process. -
Revise District Common Assessments
Work throughout the 2014/15 school year to revise district common assessments to reflect Common Core standards and 21st century technology skills. -
