  • AAC Device Introduced to Increase Communication with ASD Individuals

  • All students who needs AAC will have their own device.

  • UDL, especially with use of technology will be implemented in most schools.

    More technology will be used in the classroom. Smartboard will be available in the classroom. For children with autism, technology will be utilized more to assist in their academic success.

  • Digital Books; Special Education will be utilizing technology and most students will access common core because of technology.

  • No more traditional classrooms; no more bulky computers; tablets and/or handhelp devices will rule our classrooms AAC will be more portable and speech recognition software will be more utilized.

    Schools in 2020 will not have the common components of a traditional classrooms like desks, white board, etc. Avatars will be used for individuals with Autism to support their motor deficits.
