    A 65 year old man protests in Samtah, Jizan, This protest inspired hundreds of people all of Saudi Arabia. Later, the old man sets him self on fire, the reasons are unknown and are still being investigated.

    600-800 protestors protested for the release of prisoners. The police shot at protestors and used percussion bombs. People were injured and arrest were made.

    26,000 members from a Facebook Group, had come to protests against the government.The protests in Saudi Arabia were not intended to demand overthrow the government in Riyadh but to demand certain reforms from the existing government. They protests against women's rights and poltical freedom.

    People protested in Buraida, holding placards asking about their relatives in prison. They asked how long their sentences would be. All of these people were arrested and eventually eleven were detained for committing forbidden acts. By January 21,all the women arrested had been released.

    7 men are imprisoned on June 24, 2013, for allegedly provoking protests and harming public order by using Facebook. The Specialized Criminal Court sentenced the men to prison from five to 10 years. Thery were also barred them from travelling abroad for additional periods.

    More than 60 women across Saudi Arabia claimed they drove cars Saturday in rebellion of a ban keeping them from getting behind the wheel.17,000 people signed a petition calling either for women to be allowed to drive or for an explanation of why the prohibition should remain in force. Videos and messages have been send all over the media of many of these women.
