    Redwood Prep will complete infrastructure upgrades, including new server software and availability that allows for more streamlined access to web-based technology.
  • Experiencing the Learning Curve

    working on writing grants for technology tools, teachers and administrators engaged in learning (PLTW, ACSA) and collaboration, informing our stakeholders as we take each step, monitoring student and staff growth, exciting the school community

    Time to reflect on what we have learned, assess where we are and what we need to move forward (training, tools, funding, etc), plan next steps

    Teacher expertise level high throughout school, students performing well academically and positively engaged in learning via multiple tools of learning, staff working collaborating with county peers to share information and resources across Humboldt County, bridging with the high school for more seamless transition for students
  • Analyze Data and Prepare for Re-Approval of Petition

    The RPrep petition renewal team will analyze student achievement data relative to blended learning instruction models K-8th grade to provide evidence for increased student achievement and effective use of technology to FESD as part of the petition renewal process.

    Exploring new gadgets, tools, programs, possibilities while we continue to engage in professional learning and development, leadership team shares expertise via publications, presentations, affiliations...complete blended model school maintaining focus on project and inquiry based learning, possibly without traditional grade level grouping
