The Montagues and the Capulets fight.
The prince comes to stop the fight. He tells the families that the next time they fight, the punishment will be death. -
Benvolio tells Romeo to go to the Capulet Party.
He does this so he will forget about Rosaline. -
Lord Capulet throws a party.
it is a masquerade party where everyone weres masks. -
Tybalt sees Romeo at the Party.
Since Romeo crashed the party, he is really angry and he wants to fight him. -
Romeo meets Juliet.
At first, Romeo falls in love with Juliet because of her looks. They talk with eachother and kiss. Juliet falls in love with Romeo and Romeo falls in love with Juliet. -
The Nurse tells Romeo and Juliet the identities of one another.
They met, but they didn't know who they were. -
Romeo and Juliet get together at Juliet's balcony.
This is the famous balcony scene where they make a plan to get married. -
Romeo talks to the Friar about the wedding.
The Friar agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet because he thinks it will stop the fued between the Montagues and the Capulets. -
The Nurse informs Juliet on the horrible news.
She tells her about Tybalt's death and Romeo's banishment. -
Romeo informs the Nurse on the news of the wedding.
She goes to tell Juliet the news. -
Romeo and Juliet get married.
Friar Lawrence marries them in his cell. -
Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo kills Tybalt.
Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo and Mercutio got into it with Tybalt and ended up getting killed. Romeo killed Tybalt for revenge. -
The Prince of Verona exiles Romeo.
He is banished from Verona. If he returns, then he will be killed. -
Lady Capulet tries to force Juliet to marry Paris.
Paris is Lord Capulet's friend, but Juliet doesn't want to marry him.quote: "Marry my child, early next Thursday Morn. The gallant, Young and Nobel gentalman, The County Paris." -
Juliet drinks the potion and fakes her death.
The Friar made a plan: When her family buries her in the vault, Romeo is supposed to come and rescue her. -
The Capulet's burry Juliet in the vault.
They also have the funeral that day. Lord Capulet compares her to a flower. Quote: "Death lies on her like an untimely frost." -
Balthezar informs Romeo on Juliet's death.
He doen't know about the potion. He thinks she is really dead. -
Romeo gets a poison to kill himself after recieving the news.
He plans to drink it right next to Juliet. He heads to Verona. -
Paris is at Juliet's vault and says his goodbyes.
Romeo runs into Paris there, Paris thinks he is a threat and fights him. Romeo kills Paris. -
Juliet wakes up to find that Romeo has already taken the poison.
She stabs herself. Now they both lie next to one another- Dead!
before she stabs herself she says: "There rust and let me die." she is reffering to the rust of the metal knife. -
The people come to the vault and find all three dead bodies.
The deathe of the children stops the fight between the Montagues and the Capulets. They make statues in their honor.
