The Stamp Act wasn't the biggest thing leading up to the war, but it was still a big part. The colonies had paper money and Great Britain was makin them pay in British money for the stamps. -

They were talking about protesting on britain. I think this is important because if they wouldn't have protested the war might not of happened because the colonies wern't sticking up for themselves. -
Boston Massacre
I think the Boston Massacre was a really big thing leading up to the Revolutionary war. The reason I think it was big is the colonist thought if you are going to shoot us then we really need to get free. Five people died from the Boston Massacre. -
Boston Tea Party
I think this was a big thing leading up to the Revolutionary War because it made Great Britain mad at the colonist. This led up to the Intolerable Acts. -
New Taxes
This was important because this got the colonist mad. When the colonist got mad that made them want to have a war. Also they made the chant "No taxation without representation." -
Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were big because the colonist were basically getting pushed around by Great Britain. They got their rights tooken away. -
The First Continental Congress
They were talking about how they were going to respond to the Intolerable acts. -
The Second Continental Congress
I think this was the biggest thing because this was when they were really talking about the war. Some of the people thought thye had no chance to Britain in the war. -
Common Sense
This was a big thing because it persuaded the people to go to war with Great Britain. Without it a lot of people might not of wanted to go to war.
