  • Proclomation of 1763

    The proclamation is a document issued in order to keep settlers from passing along the line drawn across the Appalacian Mountains.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    Taxes put onto things like molasses and other goods led to the sugar act, which thus involved a lot of protesting.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The apparent purpose of this document was to raise money in the colonies every year, and was passed without debate due to start on November 1st of that year.
  • Virgian Revolution

    Virgian Revolution
    The Virgian assembly refused to work with the Stamp Act that was put into place.

    Quatering Act
    All of the acts in this bill started at 1765, unsure of the date I left it as today's date, but changed the year.

    The townshed acts was a group of acts put together and sent down through the government to get passed in order to keep the colonists and everyday English citizens fair.

    With the killings in Boston, only 6 were actually killed. The colonists made it sound bigger so they could get all the anti-Brtish sentiment they could get.

    The tea act was put in place for the taxes of the tea everyone recieved. Struggling colonists tried buying tea, but the prices were way to high for them, thus leading to the Boston Tea Party.

    He lit his lantern and sattled up his horse, that night Paul Revere hopped on his horse and rode through town warning others about the British coming there way.

    The battle of Concord and Lexington kicked off the Amercian Revolution and was the first military engagement of the American Revolution.This lead to independance finally being won for the colonists.
