  • French and Indian War

    French and Indian War
    The cause of the war was land competition, control of North America and all trade routes, the king made a proctomation line. Effects were taxes on all colonys, proctomation line of 1763.
  • Surgar Act

    Surgar Act
    This was a 3 cent tax of surgar. The leaders of the colonys did not likethis so they wanted to boycott surgar.
  • Boston massacre

    Know as the Incident on King Street by british. British troops shot and killed 5 American men and injured 6 more. The Americans say british shot for no reason. The British said the Americans charged, no one really knows what happen.
  • Tea Act

    The king taxed tea. Only one company could sell tea, British East India Co could sell it. This helped slow down tea smuggled into the colonies.
  • Boston Tea Party

    This was a protest by the Sons Of Liberty in Boston, against the tax policy of British Government. A group of colonists went on the ship and poured the tea into the harbor to protest the tax on tea.
  • Lexington & Concord

    This was the start of the Revolutionary War. About 800 British Army were given secret orders to destroy military supplies in Concord, but on there way to Cocord They were stoped in Lexington by 100 american troops and fought for a couple hours. The British won and went to Concord, but by the time they got there nothing was there.
  • Declaration of Independence

    This is a statement saying the 13 colonies were now independent states, and no longer a part of the British Empire.
