King John was the one who signed it, the Magna Carta was signed in Runnymede. The rights it gave was to govern England and deal with it's people according to the customs of the Federal law. -
mayflower compact
The Mayflower compact was made so that they would have a stable government and not run out of resources fast. The pilgrams didn't want a King or a Queen, they just wanted a government. -

Boston Tea Party
The Boston tea party took place when Massachusetts Patriots, protested the monopoly on the American tea importation granted by the Parliament to the East India Company. The British shut down the Boston Harbor and also created the intolerable acts. -

The purpose was to give a general government for the 13 colonies that had won their freedom from British, but to also bring about perpetual unions for new states. -
start of the constitutional convention
this was to help address government problems in america, which were under the articles of confederation. even though the convention was intended to check the articles of confederation, the intention from the outset was to create a new government rather than fix the original one. -
French and Indian War
This was fought primarily between the conolies of British America and New France. Some of the major battles were the battle of Quebec, battle of fort Necessity, where 600 French men and 150 Indian men attacked Goerge Washington's Miltia. The British won this war, This effected our relationship because of all the damage done after this war, causing the British to taxt the colonies more.
