    The Sugar and Molasses Act
    Under the new Sugar and Mollassas Act the collonial merchant ships had been requierd to pay a tax of six pence per gallon of molasses, but the act had never been enforced because of invasion until now were the British was enforcing and trying to collect it.

    The Incident was also know as the Incident on King street. In which a mob formed around British troops who were there to enforce Parliamentary legislation. The British troops were subjected to verbal abuse and harrasement and, on their on judjment fired into the crowd instantly killing 3 and wounding more. Two more people died of the injuries in the shooting.

    The act was not intended to raise money because it imposed no new taxes, 18 millon pounds of unsold tea was shipped directly to the colonies were it was supposed to be sold at a bargain price.

    The battle of Lexington and Concord
    About 700 British arme soldiers were given secreat orders to capture and destory military supplies that were stored by the Miltia at Massachutes. About 500 Minutemen fought and defeated three companeis of the redcoats as they fel back to Boston.
